There are moments in our lives that sometimes define us in ways that we could never realize. Sometimes, this happens to individuals who put their lives out there for the world to see.

Recently, a youngster named Reid Wilson went on America’s Got Talent. The teenager had always loved singing and at 14 years old, he thought he had a lot to offer to the world.

Before giving his performance to the judges on America’s Got Talent, he explained a little bit about himself in the interview. He said that he had always loved singing and when he was young, he would run around the house singing at the top of his lungs.

That was then but he continued to work with his talent over the years. He was in the middle of four children and he didn’t want to be forgotten, so he sang for his parents and siblings to keep their attention focused on him.

Although he had performed for his family, he had never performed for anyone on the outside. Now that he was standing before the judges on America’s Got Talent, it was time to show the world what he had to offer.

He admitted to being nervous but when he opened up and began singing a 1963 hit, You Don’t Own Me, the judges were instantly smitten. As he continued to sing, you could see the look of contentment spread across the faces of the judges and it showed when Howie took things to the next level.
