House Republicans are preparing to receive an update on the Trump administration’s ongoing investigation into billionaire George Soros’ involvement in local radio stations. The Republican Study Committee has scheduled a closed-door meeting with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr on Wednesday to discuss the matter.
The Republican Study Committee, made up of 175 conservative lawmakers, will meet privately with Carr, who is expected to brief them on the FCC’s investigation into Soros, particularly regarding a firm linked to him that recently acquired more than 200 Audacy radio stations across the country.
