Daniel Radcliffe has been spotted enjoying a sweet Father’s Day stroll in New York City, just two months after welcoming his first child with longtime partner Erin Darke.
The famously private couple were seen in the West Village, with Radcliffe, 33, carrying their baby in a front carrier. Though they have yet to reveal the baby’s name or gender, the little one looked cozy in blue socks and a sage green bucket hat.
The outing marked a rare public appearance for the low-key pair, who have been together since 2012. They first met while filming Kill Your Darlings—and the connection was instant.
Radcliffe previously described their first on-screen interaction as something special. “Our characters were flirting, and it’s kind of sweet to watch us meeting for the first time,” he shared in a 2019 interview. He even admitted there was “no acting going on” during their scene together. “There’s a moment where she makes me laugh, and it’s just me, not my character,” he told Playboy in 2015. “She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble.”
The couple kept the pregnancy under wraps until paparazzi photos revealed Darke’s baby bump in March, just a month before their child’s birth in April.
